Global Tape Forum (GTF) and Global TestMethods Committee (GTMC) are launched jointly and involved extensively byinternational tape industries. GTF/GTMC objectives are to harmonize key PSAtest methods, establish a database of environmental and regulatory trends byregion, gather top-level production data according to agreed categories, sharean open calendar of global PSA educational events and promote crossparticipation. Its mission is to enhance the worldwide PSA industry byproviding a global forum for all member associations that enables them to addgreater value to their members.

The Global Tape Forum was proposed byAfera and PSTC in 2006. After allying with CATIA, JATMA and TAAT, the 1stGTF/GTMC was held in Orlando, USA in 2009, the 2nd in Stockholm, Sweden in2010, the 3rd in Taipei, Taiwan in 2012, the 4th in Nashville, USA in 2014.CATIA will hold the 5th Global Tape Forum, Global Test Methods Committee &CATIA Technical Conference 2016 on May 17-20, 2016 in Beijing.
